We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, carat weights, millimeter dimensions, and pricing. Natural Mineral Disclosure: All gemstones offered on oriongem.shop are genuine natural earth-mined minerals. Natural gemstones commonly exhibit internal microscopic inclusions, color zoning, and pleochroic color shifts under varying light sources (e.g., daylight vs. incandescent illumination). Orion Gem does not sell synthetic or composite gemstones. Orion Gem reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Gemstone Setting, Bench Jeweler Handling & Care Advisory

Professional Bench Setting Notice: Setting faceted gemstones into metal mountings requires specialized lapidary and jewelry setting skills. Orion Gem is not liable for cracked girdles, cleaved pavilions, or chipped culets caused by improper bench jeweler setting pressure, excessive claw tightening, or jewelers' torch thermal shock. Gemstone Care Warning: While natural sapphires possess a high Mohs hardness of 9, certain natural gemstones (such as natural zircons or peridots) have lower cleavage resistance and should not be subjected to ultrasonic cleaning machines, steam cleaning, or abrasive chemicals. Clean precious jewelry using warm soapy water and a soft-bristle brush only.
